Attaching and leading

Before first use, insert one AAA battery into the LED module (not included). Attach both carabiners to the dogs' collars or harnesses and check that both are securely fastened. Hold the ergonomic handle with your hand so that the swivel joint is freely movable at the top. When walking, keep the leashes as long as the respective area allows – short in the city and near roads, longer in the park. The stop button on the handle fixes the length as needed. Turn on the LED light at dusk and in the dark, preferably before the first step out of the house. The leash is designed for dogs up to the specified weight limit – very strong pulling dogs, untrained puppies, or dogs that suddenly pull hard to the side can overload the mechanism. For very large or very strong dogs, switch to a fixed, non-retractable double leash if in doubt. After use, fully retract the leashes before storing the leash so that the strap does not kink. If dirty, wipe the housing with a damp cloth, do not immerse in water. Keep the LED module and mechanism dry and, if necessary, clean the webbing with lukewarm soapy water and let it dry completely. Regularly check the carabiners and webbing for wear and replace the leash if visible damage occurs.
