Can the cover be left outside permanently?

No – it is a decorative cover, not an impregnated outdoor fabric. Constant rain and unfiltered sun will damage the fabric: moisture will penetrate and remain in the insert, and direct UV radiation will fade even woven colors over an entire season. Use it on covered areas and bring the cushions inside during rain or overnight. Wash at 30 °C (86 °F) on a delicate cycle, without bleach, and air dry. For plump corners, choose an insert that is about 2 cm (0.8 in) larger than the cover.
