Does the texture remain after washing?

The relief is created by the weave, not by embossing – so it fundamentally remains. It gets flattened by heat: A dryer or an iron that is too hot will press the raised sections together, and they will not recover. Wash the cover inside out at 30 °C (86 °F) on a gentle cycle without fabric softener, which can gum up the fibers, and let it air dry. For plump corners, choose an insert that is about 2 cm (0.8 in) larger than the cover.
