No space for the camera anywhere

A shelf, a window niche, the area above the apartment door – anywhere you would have a view of the room, a normal camera body won't fit. This device measures 3 x 3 x 1.2 cm (1.2 x 1.2 x 0.5 in) and weighs 10 g (0.35 oz). It stands on an edge, behind which a standard housing would long since protrude.

What the camera technically offers

• Full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second: The resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels is sufficient to recognize faces and movements in the recording area, instead of just capturing outlines. Recordings are saved in AVI format, which any computer can open without additional software.
• 90° wide-angle lens: A normal room area is fully captured from one corner. With a narrower field of view, you would need two devices for the same room.
• Infrared night vision up to 8 m (26 ft): The IR LEDs operate in the invisible range for the eye, so recording is done in the dark without a lamp having to be on.
• Motion detection: Recording only starts when something changes in the image. This means you don't have to spend hours sifting through empty footage later.
• Automatic loop recording: If the card is full, the device overwrites the oldest files. This is exactly what makes continuous operation possible without manual emptying.
• Memory cards up to 128 GB: The slot accepts commercially available TF cards – a card is not included in the scope of delivery.

Suitable for apartments and houses that are empty during the day, for garages and basements, for vacation homes between two occupancies, as a view of the entrance area, and for workshops and storage rooms with expensive tools.

What you should clarify before use

Two points determine operation. First, the power supply: The device is designed for continuous USB operation, so the installation location must be within reach of an outlet. Second, storage: Without an inserted TF card, the camera will not record – plan to include a card right away. Legally, in Germany, you are only allowed to film your own private area. Recordings of neighboring properties, common areas, and public paths are impermissible, as are secret recordings of persons, including sound recordings – both are punishable under §§ 201 and 201a StGB. Anyone who has employees, cleaning staff, or guests in the picture must inform them in advance. The device is intended for indoor use and is not protected against rain.
