What the box holds in daily use

• Integrated handle openings on both end sides: The cut-outs are directly in the solid wood, not in screwed-on fittings. This means the filled box can be pulled from a high shelf without a handle giving way.
• Weave in a continuous groove: The rattan is set into the frame instead of being glued on. The edges cannot detach when the box is repeatedly pulled out and moved.

Will the weave hold if the box is heavily loaded?

The wooden frame carries the weight, not the rattan – the woven panels are infill, not load-bearing walls. Therefore, you can fill the box with books or bottles, but you should always lift it by the handle openings and not by the weave. Do not place wet objects directly inside: rattan and untreated wood do not tolerate prolonged moisture, so in the bathroom, only use it outside the splash zone. To clean, dust with a dry cloth and use a soft brush through the weave; if necessary, wipe with a damp cloth and immediately dry thoroughly.
