Prepare, wash, dry

Extend the telescopic handle to the desired length and tighten the lock; adjust the angle of the mop head at the swivel joint and lock it with the locking knob. Before washing, rinse the car roughly with water to remove loose stones and coarse dirt that could otherwise scratch the paint when wiping. Soak the chenille cover in a bucket with car shampoo and water, and gently squeeze out excess suds. Work from top to bottom – first the roof, then the hood and rear, finally the lower, dirtier areas, so that no coarse dirt is spread from bottom to top. Rinse the cover regularly in the bucket during washing to remove absorbed dirt particles. After use, remove the cover and rinse thoroughly under clear water until no more dirt comes out; let it air dry before storing. For heavier soiling, wash the cover in the washing machine at 30 °C without fabric softener. Wipe the aluminum pole and swivel joint with a damp cloth after use and dry completely to prevent corrosion.
