The portafilter lies on a kitchen towel, the tamper tips over, and when knocking out, the puck lands half in the trash. This solid wood station gives every step its place: a padded surface for tamping, round recesses for tools, and a drawer underneath where coffee grounds fall directly.

What the station takes over at the espresso machine

• Silicone tamping mat 140 x 80 mm (5.5 x 3.1 in): The portafilter stands with the spout over the edge, so that no pressure is exerted on the spout when pressing down – this is exactly where spouts bend if you tamp on a flat board.
• Tool recesses with 60 mm (2.4 in) diameter: The depressions are set at different depths. Tampers stand upright, distributors and levelers lie flat – nothing tips over when you work next to them.
• Integrated knock box drawer, 210 x 170 mm (8.3 x 6.7 in): The puck falls directly into the drawer when knocked out. The drawer can be pulled out and emptied, instead of coffee grounds scattering over the counter.
• Solid wood body with iron frame: The self-weight keeps the station in place when pressing down. A light plastic mat slips away under tamper pressure.
• Silicone feet on the underside: They grip stone, wood, and laminate surfaces and at the same time prevent scratch marks on the subsurface.
• Suitable for portafilters and tampers from 51 to 58 mm (2 to 2.3 in): Covers common basket sizes from entry-level to prosumer machines.

What is actually included in the delivery?

Only the wooden station with silicone pad and drawer will be delivered. Tamper, distributor, leveler, and portafilter in the product images are for illustration purposes and are not included. Before purchasing, check the diameter of your existing tools – the recesses accommodate handles up to 60 mm (2.4 in). For care, remove the silicone surface and wipe it damp, only dust the wood dry and immediately remove coffee splashes so that no stains set in. Regularly empty the drawer and wipe it dry, as damp coffee grounds leave odors in the wood.
