Fill, freeze, trigger

Before first use, rinse all parts with warm water and mild dish soap and allow to dry thoroughly. Fill both molds with water (or juice, coffee, or wine) up to the fill line, put on the lid, and place horizontally in the freezer. After about four to six hours, the cubes will be completely frozen. To release them, turn the top mold upside down, place it on the storage container, and press the button with your thumb – the cubes will fall out. Waiting five minutes after removing from the freezer will make them even easier to remove. Do not put in the dishwasher; rinse by hand with lukewarm water and dry completely before refilling.
