Applying in four steps

Before applying, thoroughly clean the area to be repaired and let it dry completely – dust, grease, or moisture reduce the adhesive effect. Cut the film to the required size, allowing for approximately 2–3 cm overlap beyond the damaged area so that the tear is completely covered. Carefully peel off the backing paper, starting from one corner. Position the film along one edge first, then slowly and bubble-free smooth it over the surface – use the palm of your hand, a plastic spatula, or a soft cloth, working from the center outwards to prevent air bubbles. For larger repairs, move a hairdryer on a medium setting about 20 cm away over the film to activate the adhesive, then press firmly with your hand. For rounded or curved surfaces, apply the film in several overlapping strips rather than one large piece to avoid wrinkles. After application, wait at least 24 hours before the first use so that the adhesive can fully cure. If soiled, clean with a damp cloth and mild soapy water; do not use solvents. On highly tensioned or permanently curved areas, the film may loosen over time – in such cases, reapply smaller pieces.
