Classic hook racks require a clear wall space of half a meter. This is not available in narrow hallways, next to the apartment door, or in a niche behind the door. Individual hooks from the hardware store solve the space problem but look like they came from a hardware store. This coat hook combines a round oak cylinder with a square metal plate and comes as a set of two.

What makes this coat hook special

• Round wooden cylinder as a resting surface – the rounded shape prevents creases in shoulder areas and allows straps and hoods to slide off instead of kinking at an edge.
• Oak versus cold metal – the wooden cylinder is the part that is touched, while the metal plate only sits on the wall; a pure metal hook, on the other hand, feels accordingly cold on any winter day.

The manufacturer does not provide information on load capacity, projection, or whether screws and rawl plugs are included – especially for plasterboard walls, this should be clarified before installation.

What is important during installation?

The hook is fastened with a central screw through the center of the plate. Before drilling, determine the height and, for multiple hooks, use a spirit level or a template to ensure they are aligned. Always use cavity anchors in plasterboard, as a winter jacket with wet fabric can quickly weigh several kilograms. Only wipe the wood dry and do not leave damp towels hanging on it permanently.
