For handle variations, the drilling distance is crucial: measure from hole center to hole center on an existing front and choose the appropriate length, otherwise you will have to drill new holes. The knob, however, only needs one hole; if two-hole handles were previously in place, one drill hole will remain visible and must be dowelled and painted over. For cleaning, use a dry or damp cloth, no abrasive cleaners or acidic cleaners, as they can partially remove the artificial aging.
