What the construction and the filter achieve

• Double-layered frame made of metal and acetate: The attached plastic ring visually broadens the front without making it heavier. A single-layer metal frame looks thin and generic in the same spot.

How can you tell that the filter is actually working?

Hold the glasses in front of a mobile phone or laptop display and turn them slowly by 90 degrees. If the image darkens significantly or turns black, the polarizing filter is active – with purely tinted glasses, nothing happens. This exact effect has a practical downside: some car displays, gas station signs, and navigation screens may appear darker or color-distorted through the glasses. Store the glasses in their case and do not place them face down. For cleaning, rinse with clear water and dry with a microfiber cloth; paper towels leave fine scratches. The nose pads can be adjusted with your fingers if the glasses slip or pinch.
