Why neither dishwasher nor microwave?

Because of the wooden handle. Wood swells in the wash cycle, cracks when drying, and the connection to the glass loosens. In the microwave, it heats unevenly compared to the glass, which affects the adhesive joint. Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, do not soak the handle and wipe dry immediately. Avoid rapid temperature changes, as thin glass can crack.
